Yes. It is built on WebKit, the same engine as Safari. Every feature of WebKit is available, including JavaScript, web apps, and PWAs.
No. ZeroTrace does not have an account system. The bookmarks vault is unlocked with the password you set locally — that is the only credential.
We cannot recover it. This is by design — if we could reset your password, we could also read your bookmarks. Choose a password you will remember.
Yes. Optional biometric unlock can be enabled in Settings — the password is still the source of truth and is required after a device restart.
On your iPhone, inside the app sandbox. Encrypted with AES-256-GCM, key derived from your password via HKDF-SHA256, master key sealed in the iOS Keychain.
ZeroTrace Pro includes an encrypted export / import feature — you can move your vault between devices without anyone reading it. There is no automatic cloud sync.
Not yet. ZeroTrace is iOS-only and uses several Apple-only frameworks (Apple Intelligence translation, CryptoKit, iOS Keychain).
No. There are no analytics SDKs in the app — no Firebase, Sentry, Adjust, Mixpanel, or Amplitude. We do not know how many people use ZeroTrace or what features they tap.
It is built into the app. ZeroTrace does not download remote filter lists — all rules ship with the binary and run through the Apple content blocker engine locally.
All encrypted data is removed with the app sandbox. Export your bookmarks first if you want to keep them.
Open the paywall from the Pro tab or when accessing a Pro feature. Purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID.
Android is not currently planned. ZeroTrace is designed exclusively for iOS.
